In the spirit, words equal swords. So, with our mouths we also wield swords. We can use our words with the Holy Spirit as a scalpel to bring healing and restoration into the lives of others, or we can use words in a destructive manner which spiritually stand and injuries others.
HOW ARE YOU USING YOUR WORDS?
I was told by a lady that she has gotten more encouragement from her workout partners then her church family. As Christians non Christians, believers, non believers, etc how are we speaking to people? It doesn't hurt to give a kind word or a simple smile. You never know who your entertaining. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. (Hebrews 13:2)
Reckless words pierce like a sword but the tongue of the wise brings healing (Proverbs 12:18).
